Group Reformer Classes are a fun and social way for students to learn how to use this highly effective piece of training equipment. Each participant has some experience on a Reformer prior to joining a group class, so they are familiar with the adjustable ropes, pulleys, springs and carriage system. Students work through a sequence of appropriately leveled Reformer choreography in unison, with the Pilates instructor monitoring for safe and proper form.
Level one Classes: This is a class for beginners. This class will teach you proper alignment, form, posture and breathing techniques. You will be amazed at what your body can do while learning the proper Pilates techniques! You will have more range of motion, you will strengthen your core, have better stability, increased flexibility, improved posture and you will tone your entire body! Our instructors will make sure that after taking a few of our Level One classes, you will be ready to take on the challenge of our Level 2-3 classes!
Level 2-3 Classes: These classes are for the more advanced Pilates enthusiasts. In our Level 2-3 classes, you will go through challenging sequences and variations of exercises that go at a much faster pace. You will be introduced to accessories like the Pilates short and long box, the jumpboard, the Pilates circle and the Pilates ball. Some of these classes may even include using weights during your session. You will achieve slimmer, longer, stronger muscles without building bulk. Your endurance and energy level will improve and you will have a new, well-toned body.
Progress to performing your workouts in a group of 3 or more. This is a great energy filled class along with being a great way to advance your Pilates skills.
